[Book Review] Nature vs Nuture by Glyn Williams

About the book

This book centers around a very handsome young man who was controlled by love. His growing up had mysterious happenings like powerful 'skills' which is rare of any rightful human being.
But, when he is faced by someone he loves, his strange habits begin to cool down and he returns to normal self. His family denied him of a secret behind his existence. His mum, Emily had a role to play but Robert, his father, didn't. After decades of managing the ups and downs of Alex's behaviour, they soon could not hide the secret anymore.

My Review

I really saw the actions of love as I read this book. I believe what saved Alex on several occasions is LOVE. "It doesn’t matter that you’re not biologically mine, because it’s not biology that makes a family." This statement by Robert hit me on the softest spot! I see every reason for a family to be happy if there's love. Alex is a real gentleman for keeping to his love for Jessica. There are indeed many lessons to learn from this book. It eased my hard days, made me laugh and made me cry. The author is really a genius for such creativity and awesomeness. I duly recommend this book!

  1. awww that's such a lovely review. I would have liked to know what you didn't like about the book too. I am a hard reviewer (that's why I haven't reviewed in a while). I always believe that there's always room for improvement. I self-criticise my own books too.

This bit "It doesn’t matter that you’re not biologically mine, because it’s not biology that makes a family." struck a chord with me too. I think a lot of people focus on biology a lot and prevent themselves from being able to love unconditionally.

Thanks for sharing your review with me.
